No one is immune to the deceptive practices still floating around out in the Collection Agency world.  It’s such a simple way to rake in cash that it’s likely to never stop.  Of course, it’s important to handle this situations in a very business-like manner.  You don’t want to call and yell at anyone or threaten people.  When you call to check up on something like this, you need to make note of who you spoke to, their direct line or extension, the time, the date and actually write out in quotes exactly what they told you.  Make them wait while you do so.  Have them repeat if necessary.  Then, make sure you SAVE this information in a safe place.  Remember, the bureaus don’t verify anything, so if this had been reported to my credit report, I would have lost 100+ points without having done anything wrong.

Come out to UTC Mall this Saturday to get some great info on San Diego Short Sales or building your credit in San Diego to buy a home in the future.  #1 ReMax Agent, Gary Kent and I will be providing refreshments, door prizes and priceless info for FREE to the public.  Affiliates such as lenders and Real Estate Agents can attend for $995/each.

January 30th at UTC Mall in Forum Hall (Over Wells Fargo)

“The Business Decision”, Short Sale is the Solution – Agent Recommendations

“The Business Decision” is when a family is deciding what they should do about their home in San Diego.  I have these conversations every day and I can always give the Client some great ideas.  A lot of these people are happy with where they live and actually would like to stay put.  However,  being under water by 30-40% would make anyone start to think…

From a Credit Scoring perspective, the solution here is a San Diego short-sale.  It can save your credit by reducing or even eliminating the element that causes all the damage, which is the number of 90-day late payments that make their way onto the credit report.

However, I highly recommend you work with Proven Industry Leaders in the Short-Sale Arena if you’re considering it.  This is why I offer you Peter Middleton of Keller Williams in La Jolla and Gary Kent from ReMax.  Both of these Agents have worked through the last Short-Sale Real Estate cycle and flourished.  Be extremely careful about using inexperienced Agents for your Short-Sale needs.  It could cost you a significant amount of time and money.

Save Money San Diego radio is a show that I co-host with a very prominent Mortgage Lender here in San Diego.  We discuss a wide range of topics.  The idea behind the show is to help keep people in San Diego informed about what’s going on in the News, Sports, Real Estate and Credit.  I do a segment of the Show called Credit Today where I offer credit tips to help you increase your Credit Score in San Diego.

I’ve also included in this video an Investigation Result that we received today.  Not because they are amazing by any means, but because these folks went from high 400′s to low 600′s in less than 45 days.  We see results like this all the time.  I always say that seeing is believing, especially when it comes to San Diego Credit Repair.  Results are what matter.  Results are what everybody wants and results are what we deliver.
